New Jersey logistics and distribution company promotes CMO to provide ideal client experience 

Edison, N.J. — October 10, 2016  Dotcom Distribution announced today the appointment of JD Woods to the role of chief experience officer (CXO). Woods previously served as chief marketing officer for Dotcom Distribution, overseeing sales and marketing.

“JD is an extremely valuable asset to Dotcom,” said Dotcom CEO Maria Haggerty. “His extensive experience in and knowledge of the client relations and customer experience realms have played an integral role in the way that Dotcom operates. In the newly created role, Woods will oversee the sales, transportation analytics, marketing and customer relations teams to deliver on Dotcom’s commitment to capturing and responding to the voice of customers, as well as extend an information-driven experience beyond marketing and sales into the client service relationship. According to Dotcom Distribution CEO Maria Haggerty, this change will better serve both existing and prospective clients and support Dotcom’s brand promise to help brands excite shoppers, enhance trust with customers, and identify opportunities to reach new audiences.

Woods joined Dotcom as CMO in 2014 and gracefully took on the company’s growing sales team.
With a background in the retail, business services, marketing, and government contract operations industries, Woods promotes within Dotcom a logistics and process-oriented approach to fulfillment that utilizes his expertise in scrum and Six Sigma methodology.

Prior to coming on as CMO, Woods held roles in marketing, operations and client relations at MediMedia Health, J. Knipper & Co., Inc. and Rust Oleum. Woods graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in English and also studied management of information and technology at Ramapo College.
